The ALFAT SDR (SD-Reader) board is specifically designed to highlight ALFAT's SD-Reader mode. In this mode, ALFAT still accepts commands to access files on the SD card but it can also become an SD card reader, making this an ideal solution for data logging applications. The pinouts of both the ALFAT SDR board and the ALFAT OEM board are compatible making both boards interchangeable. They even have the same footprint and mounting layout.
This board is also the reference design for developers intergrating ALFAT into their existing product and utilizing the SD-Reader mode.
